Ecotourism World became a media partner with Asia Ecotourism Network (AEN) in July 2020.

Asia Ecotourism Network (AEN) is a regional initiative of the Global Ecotourism Network (GEN) and in line with GEN’s mission statement. AEN provides hands-on connections and relevant opportunities for their members which are mostly tourism related enterprises working together at a regional scale in Asia. AEN also provides networking and business opportunities, significant information, educational materials and networking prospects to both small and large organisations within Asia.

We are happy to be in a media partnership with AEN which is one of the most important organisations of ecotourism in the Asia region.

The Oceancy

The Oceancy

Ecotourism World became a partner with The Oceancy in July 2021.

The Oceancy is an NGO whose goal is to protect the marine ecosystem through sustainable tourism, scientific research and awareness.

The Oceancy has developed sustainability projects for tour operators called Sustainability Improvement Programs (SIPs), whose goal is to reduce the human impact during activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling, whale watching and more, including one project dedicated to the correct use of plastic.

The Oceancy is also involved in coral restoration projects.

Ecotourism World became a partner with EcoHotels.com in August 2022.

EcoHotels.com is an online travel agency (OTA) founded in 2020 with a hotel booking site which specializes in sustainable hotels around the world.

EcoHotels.com works exclusively with hotels that comply with the highest sustainability standards through certification.

EcoHotels.com has a partnership with Plastic Exchange Bali, which is an organization that cleans up Bali by offering plastic for rice. 50.000kg plastic collected and 55.000kg rice distributed so far. Moreover, EcoHotels.com gives back to nature through our bookings. For every booking made, one tree is planted. They have already planted 25.000 trees in Denmark.
